Kuwaiti finance House – KFH – was awarded the International Standards Organization Certificate ISO 9001: 2000 by the Canadian Quantity Management Institute for the outstanding performance of the collection and follow up unit at the commercial sector, within a standard time, in cooperation with Human Investment Company (HIC).
The General Manager, Jassar Dakheel Al-Jassar confirmed, while receiving the certificate, that KFH is implementing an integrated plan to qualify its services and products as per international standards. This certificate as well as the high ratings, which KFH is awarded annually, signifies the success of this methodology. He added that the certificate has a significant meaning at this important stage of KFH progress. It was awarded to a sector, which is in direct contact with customers. This proves that customer care at KFH does not only cover the provision of a distinguished product or service but also covers the after sale services, communication, and development of relationship to achieve the common interest of both customer and KFH.
Mr. Al-Jassar said that KFH focuses on quality and service development by following up developments, preparing studies and reports and studying modern examples of companies and firms working in similar fields and striving to obtain international quality certificate.
International Standards
Mr. Mohammed Fawwaz, GM - QMI – Middle East, said that collection and follow up department in the commercial sector conducts it activities in accordance with international standards. Therefore it was qualified for the ISO certificate 9001:2000
He added that the vesting company has reviewed the activities of the unit and found several distinguished positive elements i.e a customer focused unit. Staffs are committed to improvement of business systems and performance on annual basis and in a timely manner.
He reiterated that the unit documents and records its activities accurately. It always endeavors to adopt official and well studied procedures to correct any possible errors. The unit shall undergo a periodical review procedures every 6 months to ensure the continuation of its current level.
Facing Challenges
Mr. Khaled Al-Qassar, GM – Human Investment Company appreciated KFH Officials cooperation extended to the experts of the qualifying company and the vesting company in order to make this project a success and winning this high rank certificate in such a short period.
Mr. Al-Qassar said that KFH objectives confirm its awareness of the volume and type of challenges, which institutions are facing, including systems and their adequacy to clients’ characteristics, and expectations. He said that customers’ expectations are increasing daily. ISO 9001 systems itself is designed to serve customers. It modifies business rules, operations and systems to achieve the highest level of customer satisfactions by implementing International standards to performance and service.
