Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Chairman and Managing Director Bader Al-Mukhaizeem stated that the clear path paved by Shariah is the main reason for KFH achieving continuous successes and achievements, during its 30 years of adhering to Shariah compliant business methods, which is rendered a duty that each and every Islamic financial establishment should follow to leap into the league of major corporations.
Al-Mukhaizeem added during his meeting with Secretary General for Awqaf Public Foundation Dr. Mohammed Al-Shareef, that the KD 100,000 donation given by KFH for the knowledge seeker project, in addition to the Holy Quran recitation contest reveals the interest that KFH possesses for Shariah studies and its learners, and to the people who recite the Holy Quran. Sponsoring such events has been a KFH custom for more than 10 years.
He added that financial institutions should not only be concerned with increasing their revenues, but also should exceed that and participate in social events, especially the ones related to Shariah. KFH has always been a pioneer in such events, and donated more than KD 15 millions as social contributions in various fields during the past 4 years.
Dr. Al Shareef praised KFH's donation and said that it is not the first time such a generous donation has been presented. KFH has effectively contributed in the fields of knowledge and Shariah studies, which reveals the social role played by institutions. KFH is rendered a role model for Islamic banks and corporations all around the globe, and its successes are viewed as a symbol for Islamic economy as a whole.
He wished at the end of his visit that the cooperation that exists between KFH and the Awqaf Public Foundation, which has recently added the execution of the electronic waqf 2 weeks ago, continuous and prospers.
