The Head of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students in the United States Ahmed Al-Jowaan praised the efforts of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in supporting the educational process in Kuwait and overseas, and applauded it for its keenness to remain connected to Kuwaiti students overseas, which is considered to be a positive initiative and a role model for the private sector in caring for them. He added that KFH participates as a strategic partner for the third year for the Ramadan activities, in addition to supporting the association’s permanent headquarters in Kuwait. He explained that the association’s website www.nuks.org will include all Ramadan activities, such as registering Gargeaan delivery requests to the houses of the students among other Ramadan foods that those students miss overseas. He went on to say that the website also includes a special section for Ramadan competitions, in order to allow students to compete online from various locations and states, not to mention the association’s television that includes several Ramadan programs that are prepared by the students.
Moreover, he said that the website will make a live broadcast during the last 10 days of Ramadan from Mecca, and noted that using and activating the website will allow the students to stay linked to Kuwait.
Furthermore, the website includes a section for prayers and Quran, where visitors can listen to it through the website, in addition to a radio program where students compete live from various cities and a section about Ramadan cuisine.
Al-Jowaan expects that most of the Kuwaiti students in the United States will participate in those activities, and highlighted the fact that KFH will always be a strategic partner, which will prompt the association to exert sterling efforts to present the best to the Kuwaiti students in the United States.
