Kuwait Finance House (KFH) CEO Mohammed Al-Omar stressed that training competent employees who are able to be productive to upgrade KFH and the Islamic banking industry is a priority, which allows KFH to strengthen its competitive abilities in an industry that witnesses continuous competition.
He mentioned in his speech during the closure of a training program that targets young managers, that KFH is keen to setup training programs to prepare and qualify cadres that are able to lead the internal training process. He added that in light of the success that was achieved during the first training course that included 15 trainees, KFH plans to shift this success to other subsidiary banks, including KFH-Turkey that has highly qualified bankers who are targeted by other Turkish banks.
He stressed the importance of facilitating the work of employees instead of complicating procedures, and said that self motivation will lead the bank to further success.
Meanwhile, human development expert Abdul Rahman Tawfiq who presented the program praised the efforts exerted by KFH and its eagerness to in developing its employees, which makes KFH a school in Islamic economy and the Harvard of Islamic banks. He went on to say that this is evident by the fact that CEO Al-Omar was named as Best CEO in the area last year; thus revealing KFH’s efforts in training and qualifying its employees. He revealed that he has been working with KFH for a long time through continuous partnership in the field of training and human development, where he personally trained several young employees who are now holding senior positions.
Moreover, the Career Development Department Manager Hanadi Al-Hamli applauded Al-Omar’s efforts in supporting the training program, and said that the first batch of graduated trainees that the bank will rely on to lead the training process n the coming period.
