Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced that it received the Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait award from Asiamoney that is one of the publications of Euromoney for the second consecutive year. This new accomplishment cements KFH’s status as best Islamic bank in Kuwait, and reflects its keenness to offer quality services to its clients.
KFH’s AGM for Investment Sector Abdul Nasser Al-Subeih said that receiving the award for the second consecutive year from such a prestigious authority underscores KFH’s pivotal role in the local market and its leadership in local Islamic banking despite the current challenging economic status. He added that KFH’s local success serves as a platform for further expansion in regional and international markets, and noted that KFH has the ability to meet the requirements of its clients in offering services and products that reinforce the national economy. He went on to say that the acceptance and satisfaction that KFH’s clients show towards its products and services is the best award the bank could achieve.
The magazine had mentioned that KFH, which is considered to be the first Islamic bank in Kuwait, managed to face competition through its unique performance that allowed the bank to increase its market share in deposits, banking cards, client services, real estate finance, and investment services, despite competition.
In 2010, KFH won several awards, such as Best Kuwaiti Bank in the region and the world among Kuwaiti banks according to The Banker for best 100 banks in the world; best bank in electronic payments by Citi Bank, best real estate bank, best Islamic bank in Kuwait and the gulf by Global Finance magazine, and best data warehouse application project from Sybase.
