Kuwait Finance House (KFH) CEO Mohammed Al-Omar received the leadership award in e-payment that was granted to KFH by Citi Bank for the second consecutive year. It is worth noting that Al-Omar met with Citi Banks visiting delegation to discuss means of cementing relationships between the two banks.
The delegation that included Citi Bank-Kuwait’s CEO Zeyad Aqrouq, Executive Manager Steve Donovan, the Manager of the International Services Operations Nadeem Saleh, and Deputy Manager of Corporate and Investment Finance Saqr Al-Ghanem, stressed that the fact that KFH won this award highlights its advanced abilities, in addition to the existence of an advanced technological environment and highly professional staff, since it is challenging to surpass the specified international standards. KFH and a few other banks managed to win this award after competing with 320 other banks worldwide. The delegation noted that the great interest that KFH shows to upgrade its programs positively affects the course of its operations and its relationships with its clients.
Meanwhile, Al-Omar praised the long, historic relationship between KFH and Citi Bank that has turned into a strategic partnership in light of their collaboration in several deals and investments, since KFH seeks to enter more global markets. It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by Deputy AGM for Operations Department Anwar Al-Gheith. Al-Omar went on to say that KFH and Citi Bank are currently working together in the fields of banking, technology, and investments, and stated that there are many workshops on top management level between the two banks to exchange points of views and to discuss investment opportunities.
Moreover, Al-Gheith applauded the efforts exerted by KFH to develop its technological performance, which results in winning numerous awards from international agencies and banks that deal with KFH. The bank has also managed to build a robust infrastructure that allows it to use technology to serve the bank’s clients.
