Kuwait Finance House (KFH) CEO Mohammed Al-Omar applauded the accomplishment made by Kuwaiti inventor Sadeq Qassem who received two gold and one silver medals during the Geneva International Expo that was held recently and attended by a large number of inventors from around the globe. He noted that KFH supports talented youths as part of its social responsibility programs, which prompted it to sponsor Qassem participated successfully in the event. He stressed that youths should work hard, especially in the technology field, in order to boost technologic development in Kuwait and overseas, since KFH believes in constant development and in the implementation of technology to serve clients.
Meanwhile, Qassem, who holds the title of Arab Inventor for year 2010, asserted that KFH’s support allowed him to effectively take part in this event, and dedicated his accomplishment to Their Highnesses the Amir and Crown Prince, in addition to all Kuwaitis. He thanked his family and friends for their support and encouragement. He went on to say that KFH was the only authority that offered him moral and financial support. He thanked all KFH’s employees, especially the Marketing and Public Relations Manager Fahad Al-Mukhaizeem who offered him logistic support and facilitated his participation, including the shipping of equipment that weigh more than a ton. He extended his gratitude to the Kuwaiti Scientific Club that supports his talent, and to its Chairman Eyad Al-Kharafi.
Furthermore, he revealed his participation in three new ideas in the fields of power saving, and protection of children in smart houses. In addition to his first invention the alchemist, which received a gold medal in Geneva, he also invented a device that saves power energy that was awarded by another gold medal, and also received a silver medal for a protection device for smart homes.
He announced that there are new inventions in the pipeline that are the ideas of his team member Abdullah Al-Qassem, which are in the maritime field in Kuwait. He also revealed that he will establish a specialized company that markets Kuwaiti ideas in collaboration with his team member Abdullah Murad.
