The Human Resources and Services Department Manager at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Mohammed Al-Jallal announced that KFH has implemented a new training system in compliance with the requirements of supervisory authorities, including the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK). The bank will start 85 workshops that target more than 1600 employees in several vital fields. Al-Jallal stressed the importance of training employees, since they boost the economy and the status of the market. He added that KFH's future plans to train employees are based on technical competencies through paradigm training that is related to the employee's field of work, where employees will receive certificates.
Moreover, he explained that the campaign aims to offer information fast to those who need it, in addition to meeting the requirements of internal and external supervisory authorities. He went on to say that such training is given by several KFH trainers who are experts in their fields of work. He revealed that all those trainer carry "Professional Trainer" certificate from the International Federal Training and Development Organization (IFTDO).
Furthermore, Al-Jallal mentioned that the fields of training targeted by the workshops include risk management, values of work, administration, CI-NET, Shariah identity, banking law program, banking products workshop, and money laundry.
He noted that this campaign comes as part of a series of other training programs that the annual plan includes for training and developing KFH employees; especially that KFH is keen to select unique local and international training courses, not to mention e-learning, where KFH is considered to be a pioneer in that field among local banks.
Al-Jallal mentioned that KFH firmly believes in investing in its human resources, since employees are the most valuable assets of the bank. He added that KFH follows a policy of recruiting Kuwaitis.
