KFH sponsors issuing of “Names of Streets and History of Kuwait” encyclopedia in conjunction with national festivals

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced that it will sponsor the issuing of “Names of Streets and History of Kuwait” encyclopedia in over 500 pages, in order to familiarize people with the streets in Kuwait, and the meaning of their names whether people, cities, or countries. The encyclopedia includes pictures and is translated to English, which will allow non-Arabs and diplomats to read it. This step comes as part of KFH’s national celebrations.

It is worth noting that the encyclopedia that was issued by researcher Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Owaid is considered to be of great significance, since it raises the awareness regarding the names of Kuwait’s streets and their meanings, in addition to providing historic information in English and Arabic for all streets. This will lead to increasing the segment of people that will benefit from the encyclopedia, especially that it includes interesting information and pictures accompanied by explanations for every street.

KFH continues to shoulder it social responsibility role through revealing the bright image of Kuwait; thus highlighting its leading economic, social, and cultural statuses.
