Kuwait Finance House (KFH) launched a strategic partnership with IHG - Kuwait for its clients with prepaid cards (Al-Kheir, Al-Osra, Hessabi) in conjunction with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). Imminent dignitaries from KFH and IHG Kuwait attended the event celebration including Banking Cards Department Manager at KFH Julio Lobo and Director of Operations for Northern Gulf, Hani Kafafi.
Julio Lobo explained that the program allows KFH clients who have the aforementioned prepaid cards to receive up to 25% discount and a free 50% discount activation voucher that is delivered to clients within a few days and are valid at 35 restaurants that are under IHG’s umbrella in Kuwait, which include Al-Ahmadi, Al-Noukhaza, Ayam Zaman, Sakura, Shabestan, Viaggio, Al Diwan, Rib Eye, Tang Chao, Downtown, Laylaki, Il Centro, Peppes Pizza, Ruby Tuesday, and others.
He also added that KFH credit card holders are also eligible to take advantage of the privileges offered by Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Salmiyah, which include rooms, wedding ballrooms, health club memberships, and external buffets. It is worth noting that the cost for the previous services can be paid through 9 - month installments. He asserted that KFH is keen to select promotional campaigns that meet the requirements of its clients, which is part of its efforts to reinforce its market share in the local banking cards market, in addition to encouraging clients to use their banking cards to settle payments safely using advanced technology.
Hani Kafafi stated that this campaign cements the strategic partnership between the two giants; especially that KFH has been one of the group’s top clients. He added that in 2004, KFH began its training programs and held its events using the group’s luxurious facilities. He noted that successful institutions rely on establishing partnerships with each other to ensure best services for clients. He went on to say that IHG, which is considered to be one of the most prestigious groups in the hotels industry that has around 4500 hotels worldwide, is keen to strengthen its partnership with KFH, not to mention its efforts to reinforce its businesses in Kuwait that began in 1982 through offering new services that cater to increasing number of clients.
Moreover, the Cluster Director of Sales for Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza in Kuwait Rafik Kamel said that the Privilege Club card program was launched 10 years ago was a huge success in Kuwait, and attracted many clients who obtained the cards. He noted that the number is expected to multiply when all KFH clients receive the cards during the coming days.
