Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Sabah applauded the role played by Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in training and recruiting Kuwaitis, which allows them later on to hold administrative and senior posts; thus turning KFH into a school that grants Kuwaitis the opportunity to learn and develop in the Islamic banking field. he added that KFH is keen to have branches in various areas, in order to serve the people living in Kuwait. He went on to say during the inauguration of KFH's branch in Abo Halifa that KFH underscores the needs of Kuwaiti families through offering them products and services that suit the current modern life style. He asserted that this role cements the concept of saving, and allows families to avoid several financial challenges, not to mention having a generation that successfully manages its financial commitments. He explained that banks and the private sector must take into consideration the diverse needs of society members, and stressed that the awards that KFH receives locally and internationally highlights the achievements made by the Kuwaiti private sector. He stressed the importance of meeting the requirements of clients through developing products and services that cater to their needs.
Moreover, Al-Sabah said that his governorate has various economic activities that are shouldered by major companies, and that the governorate welcomes banks and corporations through offering them facilities that play a role in boosting the economy.
Meanwhile, Acting CEO Anwar Al-Gheith mentioned that KFH has currently 56 branches in Kuwait, which is part of KFH's strategy to exist in all locations to serve its clients and to communicate with various segments of the society. He added that such efforts allow KFH to lead the market and cement its market share. He highlighted the role of branches and sales outlets, in addition to other advanced means of technology that offer services around the clock. He mentioned that KFH has products and services for al segments of the society, and explained that the decision to increase the bank's capital by 20% aims to increase the number of shareholders, reinforce financial coverage, follow development plans, and expand. He went on to say that KFH is eager to develop its market share in the local market through offering unique services and products. He revealed that KFH has already offered 15 services and products from the beginning of the year.
Furthermore, he said that KFH's banks in Malaysia, Bahrain and Turkey are expanding in neighboring countries and markets as planned. he stated that KFH has 225 branches in Turkey, whle KFH-Malaysia continues to expand in south east Asia.
