Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Chief Investment Officer Abdul Nasser Al-Subeih received a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce, including Vice President David Chavrin and American Ambassador in Kuwait Mathew Toller, in addition to a number of advisors and representatives of the embassy on the sideline of the delegation's visit to Kuwait.
During the meeting, Al-Subeih discussed with the delegation investment opportunities in various fields in the United States, since KFH has achieved during the past years rewarding returns through successful deals executed in north America; especially in the real estate field. This made KFH a candidate to join AFIRE.
Al-Subeih explained that KFH seeks to expand its presence in overseas markets, if feasible opportunities arise to establish a profitable investment entity. He added that North America is considered to be one of the most important markets, and stressed that KFH's strategic goal that it has been adopting, is to setup long term investments that serve as an added value to the society. He went on to say that KFH is pleased to receive the delegation, since KFH plans to expand its investments in North America, because KFH plans to exist in international markets after taking into consideration all current and future developments.
Moreover, he noted that KFH launched a residential real estate portfolio in collaboration with UDR worth half billion US dollars during the past few years, not to mention other deals that KFH has orchestrated in the American market. Al-Subeih mentioned that KFH established another real estate partnership in the United States in collaboration with Grosvenor worth half billion US dollars. This partnership is specialized in health real estate, such as homes for senior citizens and medical offices.
Meanwhile, Chavrine applauded KFH for its success in global markets. He said that this success is the result of a unique strategy that allowed the bank to establish a network of relationships with major international financial institutions. Ambassador Toller stated that he is willing to work with the Kuwaiti government and the private sector to cement relationships and reinforce development between Kuwait and the United States in all fields.
The meeting was attended by Direct Investment Department Manager Adel Al-Banwan and Abdullah Al-Ghareer from the International Real Estate Department. Commemorative gifts were exchanged at the end of the visit.
