Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was awarded Best Bank in Online Services in Africa and the Middle East award by Global Finance magazine. The award comes as part of the magazine’s annual awards for best banks worldwide to offer online banking services in 2012. The award also recognizes KFH’s efforts and excellence in offering its clients innovative services that are supported by advanced technology through its website and other channels.
Winners were chosen among entries evaluated by a world-class panel of judges at Infosys. Global Finance editors were responsible for the final selection of winners.
KFH was selected based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality. Category winners, such as “best in social media” were selected based on the relative strength and success of those web products and services.
Moreover, the magazine mentioned in a report that will be published later, the accomplishments KFH has made during the past years in offering its clients flexible and advanced banking products and services. It also highlighted KFH’s ability to develop its capabilities to provide its clients with comprehensive online banking services that meet their requirements in Kuwait and overseas.
KFH’s AGM for Operations stated that this is the second consecutive year that KFH is granted this award, which cements its leadership in offering diverse banking services that provide clients with flexibility. He asserted that such a leading status prompts KFH to continue working relentlessly to upgrade its technology. He added that KFH’s client service channels are designed to meet the requirements of all segments, whether clients who need simple banking services, or those who require more sophisticated banking operations. Clients can take advantage of over 150 free online services. He went on to say that KFH took advantage of the technology and applications of smart phones and social networking sites to launch a bouquet of its basic banking services.
Al-Gheith noted that KFH will launch within the coming days an advanced system that allows companies and institutions to take advantage of all KFH services online. This service will be highly secure and will facilitate banking operations at any time. He asserted that this advanced system is the first of its kind in Kuwait.
