The world’s leading Islamic financial institution Kuwait Finance House (KFH) offers a new financing product that allows clients to cover their medical expenses through paying monthly installments. This comes as part of KFH’s efforts to reinforce its financing products, and diversify its services to meet the requirements of its clients.
Chief of Retail Banking Services at KFH Mohammed Al-Fouzan said that the product, which is the first of its kind at KFH, allows clients to cover medical expenses at the most famous hospitals in Kuwait, in addition to specialized clinics approved by the Ministry of Health. He added that all clients are entitled to this service, and that the limit of the service is KD 15,000 to be paid through monthly installments. He went on to say that the service is not limited to KFH clients, but covers all banks’ clients in Kuwait without the need to open a salary account at KFH. However, the service is governed by the rules and regulations of retail banking services. The installments are flexible.
Moreover, Al-Fouzan explained that financing procedures require that the client must bring a price quotation from the hospital or company to one of KFH branches. KFH will ink a deal with the original service provider, and the promising, client is granted accessibility to begin medical procedures. He stressed the importance of bringing the original price quotation, the ID, a recent salary certificate for KFH clients, or a balance inquiry for clients of other banks.
Furthermore, Al-Fouzan said that the service covers surgeries, severe illnesses, obesity, maternity, dental care, and all other medical procedures, in accordance with sharia regulations.
