Human Resources and Public Services General Manager at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Zeyad Al-Omar stated that the honoring of KFH and the award it will receive for Kuwaitization of jobs during a celebration that will be held in Bahrain next week on the sideline of the meeting of GCC ministers of labor, underline KFH’s role and contributions in that field. He added that KFH managed to create high caliber Kuwaiti bankers and investors in the field of Islamic banking, whether men or ladies. He mentioned that Islamic banking had a humble beginning, but is now a global economic fact.
Moreover, he noted that KFH succeeded in cementing the cornerstones of Islamic banking through preparing a generation of Kuwaiti bankers that adopt a new method at work, and contributes in developing the its tools and products. He went on to say that such efforts allowed Kuwait to lead this industry, and revealed that KFH maintains a high rate of Kuwaiti employees that are highly professional. He stressed that KFH is keen to hone and develop the skills of its employees, in order to be able to face the rapid developments in the banking sector worldwide; especially that KFH firmly believes in investing in its human resources.
Furthermore, he explained that KFH won several local, regional, and global awards for its efforts in the field of human development. However, he stressed that this award is special because it sheds light on the support of Kuwaiti youths. He said that KFH assists the government in facing some challenges, such as the recruitment of youths, and training them to gain experience that can help them in building a brighter future, in addition to boosting the national economy.
Al-Omar asserted that KFH will continue to exert efforts in this field in collaboration with official authorities, in order to increase the number of Kuwaiti employees in various fields of work. However, he stressed that such efforts require continuous support and coordination with many parties in the society, due to the rapid inflow of youths into the labor market. He asserted that mega projects need to be established to absorb the youths, and achieve the desired human development.
