Jahra Governor Fahad Al-Amir received Acting Executive Manager for Banking Branches Mohammed Al-Mekhyal, Al-Qasr Branch Manager, and KFH PR team. He governor called for further KFH expansion in Jahra through the opening of a branch, especially in Naeem area, in order to offer its services to the residents.
Al-Amir expressed his pride, since KFH is the first Islamic financial institution that focused on leading the Islamic banking field worldwide. He called for the continuation of such efforts, in order to serve the national economy, which will eventually lead to economic prosperity. He highlighted KFH’s visit, and stressed that it underscores the strong relationships between the private and public sectors.
Moreover, he explained that KFH managed to absorb the impact of the financial crisis in 2008, and was not affected by it as other banks. He added that Islamic banking is successful, which encourages people worldwide to opt for Islamic banking. He went on to say that such success is evident in the expansion of Islamic banking around the globe.
Furthermore, the governor applauded KFH for its efforts in supporting youths, which is part of its social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Al-Mekhyal congratulated the governor on his new post, and wished him success. He asserted that KFH is keen to support social events and students, not to mention expanding in various areas in Kuwait. He noted that one of KFH’s strategies is to be close to its clients, which allowed the bank to have the largest client base in Kuwait. He revealed that a number of branches will be opened soon.
