Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has won Best Treasury Management and Best Cash Management awards from The Banker Middle East Magazine, a publication owned by CPI Financial. The awards confirm KFH’s outstanding performance and its developments and innovations in the fields related to liquidity management, and treasury in an optimal way and in line with the highest international standards.

General Manager Kuwait Treasury at KFH, AbdulWahab Al-Roshood, stated on the heels of receiving the awards, that the awards affirm KFH’s solvency and robust position, in addition to the professionalism bank enjoys, noting that liquidity management is a key player in the bank’s operations.

He indicated that KFH adopts balanced and prudent strategy in liquidity management, noting that KFH enjoys extensive experience in cash management and achieving best returns with lowest risk as per its commitments with the regulatory and legislative standards.

Moreover, Al-Roshood explained that KFH established an investment arm “Liquidity Management House” LMH which is named now KFH- Investment, not to mention that KFH is considered as a major dealer in Sukuk issuances from International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation IILMC based in Malaysia. He added that Sukuk market is among the most promising investment instruments in this field.

He underlined the importance of treasury function in a bank where it balances the financial statues and manages all assets and liabilities. Also, it studies the market’s risk and uses the suitable banking instruments to manage it.
